Zeppelin

The concept for this design has long been floating in Roger’s imagination, drawn from a curious mix of elements, some about as “Log” based as you can get with others being completely re-thought from a modern perspective. The overall look/feel to the hands and eyes is of ancient origin yet there’s a slickness to the execution of rocker/foils/edge detail that generates intrigue. The roundness of form together with an abundance of float, stability and glide conjures up the Hindenburg and hence the name Zeppelin. Expect this model to ignite your inner Log riding genius with all the components of shape culminating in a platform for early wave entry and nose ride orientated trim lines. The Zeppelin will carry you all the way to the beach with the tail set exactly where it should be for rock steady nose time. LOG? You betcha!

A Word From Roger

I’m excited to finally present the Zeppelin which has had a rather long gestation period while the vision of a Log style shape comprised of old and new school thinking slowly came into focus. “Good things take time” definitely applies here and what we have is a board based on a rocker curve flattened in its apex and exaggerated at the tail tip. A potent blend of glide and hold is made possible from a simplistically clean combo of bottom contours effectively having been turned inside out! Like I’ve said before sometimes the next revelation will be the total opposite to your current thinking and this is what sets the Zeppelin apart from our other Log models. I invite you to check it out! Cheers Roger.
