Fantail
The Fantail is the round tail version of our Mod Quad Model and is designed to fit in between our Speed Dialer and C-Wing Quad shapes. Using the Speed Dialer rocker curve as the foundation, the Fantail is a concave bottomed board with a slight roll before the rail. The spice of this design is a rail concave that runs through both sets of wings. This feature adapted from the C-Wing Quad gives engagement and pivot during turns. There is a vee that runs through the fin area to give this board a smooth quick rail to rail transition.

The Fantail is named after New Zealand's own iconic native bird "The Fantail". If you watch a Fantail fly you will get an idea of how this Model surfs - quick, nimble, direction changes... at speed! The Fantail will work well as your new every day board. Then add a Speed Dialer for smaller, fuller waves and a C-Wing Quad for bigger stepper days. Hey Presto!
