Short Fuse
We wanted to channel the Fuse's performance into below average and smaller waves. We did this by slightly flattening the rocker and widening the tail at the 12" mark to build in inherent speed when the waves are lacking. Ride the Short Fuse 2" shorter then your standard Thruster, keep the performance feel, add speed and nail your turns through a wider range of conditions. The Short Fuse comes concave powered and ready to ride as either a Thruster or quad.

The Short Fuse is exactly that. We have taken our "Fuse" high performing Thruster and re-configured it to shred in less than average conditions.
Note the tail pod is of similar dimensions to the Fuse, however, the increased width of the tail at the 12" mark gives more area and curve to the planshape where the surfer stands.
It's a versatile design that surfs with a lively spring over the softer flats and still holds a rail edge when the wave steps up. Recently the Short Fuse has racked up a series of 1st place finishes under the feet of Team Riders Tegen Bishop, Joseph "Nubby" Critchfield and Jacob Buckle!
